Catoblepas Press held a competition to translate the French satirical and libertine poet Claude Le Petit, a contemporary of Louis XIV.
We prepared a French-language edition of Le Bordel des Muses and invited participants to translate eight poems—one poem, several, or the complete cycle. Following the competition, the press plans to publish a small collection of translations.
