The anthology presentation will take place online on Monday, December 22, 2025 at 19:00 (Saint Petersburg time), when all eight Hanukkah candles are lit. A link will be posted in the publisher’s channel 15 minutes before the start: t.me/catoblepaspress.
The next anthology is planned for December 2035. Submissions are open until November 1, 2035 at catoblepaspress@mail.ru.
OPEN CALL Vox Catoblepae
Catoblepas Press and Journal announce an open call for poetry and short prose in audio and video formats.
The best works will be included in the online anthology Vox Catoblepae on the publisher’s website, and authors will receive personal pages and a community of peers.
Participation rules
- Record an audio or video (up to 3 minutes) featuring your original text: a poem, essay, prose fragment, micro-play, or literary experiment.
- Theme cloud: chaos, chance, multilingualism, blurred meanings.
- Submissions in Russian and any other languages are welcome.

Dates
Submission period: November 7 — December 7, 2025 (inclusive).
Online anthology publication by: December 24, 2025.
